Wankel pump — Felix Heinrich Wankel, Hon. DEng (August 13, 1902 – October 9, 1988) was a German mechanical engineer. He was the inventor of the Wankel engine. The Wankel rotary engine is a type of internal combustion engine, which uses a rotor instead of reciprocating pistons. This design delivers smooth high-rpm power from a compact, lightweight engine.
